The new birch leaves shine.
The old surge of life defies age,
a woman dances.
High above
the clouds move with grace.
A herd of water buffalo
rides the wind with birds.
I have heard
in the sound of rain,
felt in the touch of rain great dreams
giving birth in dirt.
A man sings
with the harmony
of every living thing. His seed
penetrates the stars.
